Mishawaka High School is pleased to be educational partners with Ivy Tech State College and Indiana University to provide college-credited high school courses. In addition to dual credit, Advanced Placement Courses are available to juniors and seniors.
Ivy Tech State College-Courses in the Business Department are available for dual high school/college credit. Courses taught at the high school by our faculty meet the standards of entry level business courses at Ivy Tech.
Indiana University’s Advance College Project (ACP)-Juniors and seniors may take courses at the high school from IU-trained MHS faculty. Students may pay tuition to receive college credit for ACP courses taken while enrolled at Mishawaka High School. ACP courses are available in the departments of Science, Social Studies, Mathematics and English.
Advanced Placement (AP)-AP Courses are available to students beginning in their junior year. AP is the culmination of the Honors sequence of courses beginning freshman year. Colleges accept AP coursework for credit based on scores received on AP end-of-year assessments. AP tests are mandatory for students who take AP course work.
